Become a Volunteer

Join the thousands of people who have already signed up as Every 1 Reads volunteers. It’s easy! Just donate 30 minutes per week to read with a child in a JCPS school or a community or faith-based organization. Register for one of the orientation sessions below to get connected. At the New Volunteer Orientation Session you will:

• Learn the JCPS protocol for helping a struggling reader
• Complete a contact/preference form
• Submit personal information for a criminal records check
• Have a photo taken for an Every 1 Reads picture ID
